this worthy activity raise awareness of students, teachers and the community by using normally discarded objects for the creation of sculpture. Some of the
environmental and economic benefits that recycling provides are preventing waste of useful materials, reducing energy usage, and reducing air and water
pollution by cutting back the need for conventional waste disposal.
Students in all grade levels are encouraged to take previously used materials and create art. Recyclable materials can consist of glass, paper, metal, and
plastic just to name a few. The materials that can be used are materials that are allowed on school property.
Artwork submitted to the fair should be able to endure the elements of weather. These items may sit outside.
